Job summary

Axion Recruitment is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a leading industrial products manufacturer in Kentucky. You will focus on equipment safety, ergonomics, OSHA compliance and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities include reviewing new equipment for safety, supporting FMEA, conducting safety surveys, and promoting a culture of safety and efficiency on the plant floor. Strong analytical skills and experience with AutoCAD are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Understanding of OSHA and workplace safety regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ergonomics, FMEA or plant safety programs preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing fixtures, machinery and tooling.
• Review new equipment for safety compliance.
• Support FMEA and plant safety programs.
• Ensure OSHA and workplace safety compliance.
• Conduct plant safety surveys and identify workplace hazards.
• Support ergonomics and employee safety initiatives.
• Monitor workplace exposure to noise, dust, fumes and other hazards.
• Support ISO 14001 and environmental compliance.
• Identify unsafe conditions and promote a safety-focused culture.
• Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing and safety processes.
