Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field required.
• Minimum five years’ professional safety experience in manufacturing industry or construction.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) status preferred.
• Physically demanding with ability to lift 40+ pounds and perform various physical tasks.
• Experience with OSHA regulations and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the working environment of production employees to ensure safety per policies.
• Maintains open communication with production management regarding safety concerns.
• Lead safety audits and ensure corrective actions are completed timely.
• Investigate injuries and coordinate with regulators and insurance providers.
• Coordinate with local medical providers for emergency services and follow-up care.
• Ensure OSHA reporting procedures are followed and up-to-date.
