Morris Packaging is seeking a Safety Coordinator to join our team in Minnesota. This role supports the Safety Manager in building a strong safety culture, with a focus on minimizing injury risk and maintaining a safe, compliant facility.

The position requires a safety-first mindset, 3–5 years of manufacturing safety experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work a standard 8-hour shift with potential overtime. OSHA-related training is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3–5 years of safety experience in manufacturing or construction is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing the success of the Morris Packaging’s Safety Program.
• Ensure the safety of all Morris Packaging employees.
• Assist in creating and sustaining a safety culture that ensures safety is Morris Packaging’s number one value.
• Identifying risks and following projects through sustainable corrective action.
• Near Miss investigations.
• Assist with safety orientation of new employees.
• Assist with safety training for current employees.
• Perform safety audits of the facility.
• Assist in various meetings.
• Lead the safety committee.
• Lead medical management program.
