Insitu is seeking skilled cable assembly technicians to build, inspect, test, and troubleshoot cable assemblies and harnesses at our facility in Washington. The role includes performing acceptance inspections and drafting quality procedures.
You will support engineering with design changes and data collection to drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has IPC-620 training or equivalent experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 4+ years in related work.
Builds, inspects, tests, and troubleshoots cable assemblies and harnesses.
Performs acceptance inspections of cables and wiring.
Drafts, reviews, and edits technical work instructions, checklists, quality documentation, and procedures related to cable fabrication.
Performs troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of cable assemblies and associated wiring.
Supports engineering with cable design changes, cable testing, data collection, and documentation for continuous product improvement and development.
Uses and maintains hand and/or power tools related to cable assembly work.
Reviews and completes business and required documentation.
Has IPC-620 training or equivalent experience Requires a high school diploma or equivalent educational certification and 4+ years of experience.
