Chobani offers a hands-on Performance Improvement & Reliability Internship based at our South Edmeston, NY facility. You will work with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to identify losses, improve equipment performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

You will develop skills in data analysis, dashboards, and problem-solving while gaining exposure to preventative maintenance and reliability optimization in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Chemical Engineering or related field with a graduation window of Dec 2027–Jun 2028.
• Proficient in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience analyzing data through coursework, projects, or internships.
• Experience collaborating on team-based projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience presenting project findings, recommendations, or outcomes.
• Willingness to relocate to South Edmeston, NY and work on-site.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs, stand for 12 hours, bend, stoop, and reach.

Responsabilités

• Own or support a defined project from problem identification through implementation and recommendations.
• Analyze OEE, downtime, waste, PM completion, startup, quality, and labor losses.
• Collaborate across functions to investigate issues using structured problem-solving and root-cause analysis.
• Support preventive maintenance optimization, PM audits, and reliability initiatives.
• Build dashboards and data workflows using Excel and Power BI to improve visibility and decision-making.
• Present project outcomes, recommendations, and impact to leaders and stakeholders.
