Job summary

The Pivot Group Network in Holt, MI is partnering with local manufacturers to identify an experienced Quality Supervisor who can lead quality teams and uphold stringent product standards.

In this role, you will oversee daily QA activities, mentor inspectors, drive corrective actions, and collaborate with production and engineering to reduce defects and improve processes. A Bachelor’s in Engineering or Quality Management and 5+ years’ supervisory QA experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team of quality inspectors or technicians.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration and leadership.
• Analytical mindset with ability to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily quality control activities and ensure adherence to established standards.
• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of quality inspectors and technicians.
• Investigate and resolve product quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct internal audits and support external audits to ensure compliance with QMS.
• Analyze quality data and generate reports to identify trends and improvements.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to optimize processes and reduce defects.
