GE Appliances in LaFayette, GA seeks a Manufacturing Quality Director to drive strategic quality leadership across plant operations. You will develop and execute quality strategies, own key metrics (FPY, COQ, SCR, OEE), and lead CAPA initiatives.

The role partners with Operations, Engineering, Supplier Quality, and Service to ensure product reliability and cost reductions. Expect to champion Lean, problem-solving, and quality culture, while developing the Quality organization and ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field required.
• Experience in Quality/Manufacturing/Design or reliability functions.
• Strong root-cause analysis and structured problem solving skills.
• Ability to analyze technical data and translate into actions.
• Proficient with MS Office; knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, CAPA, SPC.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop the Manufacturing Quality organization and teams.
• Develop and execute quality strategies aligned with plant goals.
• Own internal/external quality metrics: FPY, COQ, SCR, OEE, scrap.
• Lead CAPA, containment, root cause analysis and permanent corrective actions.
• Ensure QMS compliance and effective change control.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Supplier Quality and Field teams.
• Monitor quality performance and report to leadership with insights.
