Job summary

GE Appliances in the United States is seeking a Senior Manager, Manufacturing Quality to lead plant quality performance and continuous improvement in a high-volume manufacturing setting. You will supervise the Quality Floor team, drive MCP auditing and CAPA processes, and partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supplier Quality to reduce defects and cost of poor quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience with manufacturing quality/NPI quality projects and process improvement.
• Experience with product and process Quality Management System development and implementation.
• Previous team and project leadership, including demonstration of goal setting, monitoring of performance v goals and a strong feedback / development / accountability cycle.
• Must be skilled in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Minitab and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provides strategic and operational leadership for plant quality performance, compliance, and continuous improvement within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Leads the Quality Floor team and oversees production quality, component testing, MCP auditing, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Promotes a culture of proactive quality by strengthening process controls and standard work, using data-driven insights to identify risks and prevent issues.
• Owns and assigns tasks, drives CAPA and corrective actions, and partners with cross-functional teams to meet targets.
• Develops team performance metrics tied to factory FPY, EOLA, Scrap and product line financials.
