Job summary

Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc. (CVG) is seeking a Quality Manager in our Tennessee facility to lead the quality organization, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.

You will develop and maintain the quality management system, mentor a team, and collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain to reduce defects and improve process capability. The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, extensive quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or quality management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of quality management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of QMS, Six Sigma, Lean, SPC.
• Leadership experience and team development.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, PPAP, APQP; Lead Auditor training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality assurance and control processes to meet quality and safety standards.
• Lead continuous improvement with Global Quality Team(s) and implement corrective actions.
• Recruit, train, and manage the quality team; drive departmental goals.
• Establish quality metrics and generate regular management reports.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure incoming materials meet quality standards.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain ISO/IATF certifications.
• Develop and maintain a robust quality management system.
• Perform root cause analysis to resolve quality issues.
