Job summary

Seats Incorporated seeks a Quality Assurance Engineer to lead quality initiatives across manufacturing sites and customer engagements. The role collaborates with Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Quality, Purchasing, and MIS to develop and support processes that meet organizational needs.

Based on-site in Reedsburg, WI, the and requires a proactive, customer-focused approach to quality management, with responsibilities spanning PPAP, PFMEA, MSA/SPC, control plans, and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• ASQ CQE desired but not required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain quality records and reports (PPAP, MSA/SPC, PFMEA, control plans).
• Serve as liaison between Design/Manufacturing Eng and Operations to ensure systemic quality pre-launch.
• Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Perform foundational and advanced statistical analysis (range, mean, std dev, run charts, Cpk/Ppk).
• Travel to customer sites and manufacturing locations up to 10%.
