Job summary

Seats Incorporated in Reedsburg, WI is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and sustain manufacturing systems for efficient production of our seating products. You will collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing and MIS to drive improvements and support new product introductions.

Travel up to 10% may be required. Ideal candidates hold a BS in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, strong hands-on troubleshooting skills, and experience with PLCs, HMIs, and CAD

Qualifications

• BS degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Proven troubleshooting skills with manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment, processes, controls, and systems.
• Seek continuous improvements in efficiency and quality.
• Design in-house tooling and develop tooling specifications.
• Develop production layouts and value stream maps.
• Support pre-production design reviews and DFMA standards.
