Job summary

TE Connectivity is hiring an Internal Manufacturing Quality Engineer for the Mansfield, OH site. The role focuses on ensuring product conformance to specifications, performing inspections, and coordinating root cause analysis and corrective actions with internal teams and suppliers.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering or quality with 2+ years of experience, strong blueprint reading, data analysis, and knowledge of quality tools such as PFMEA, SPC, and 8D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Quality field with 2+ years of experience.
• Experience leading quality programs or supervising quality teams.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret specs.
• Strong data analysis and MS Office skills.
• Knowledge of AS9100 or ISO 9001.
• Experience in audits and corrective actions.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and drive improvements.
• Union experience is a plus.
• Willingness to work outside normal hours.

Responsibilities

• Support production with discrepancy parts and investigate root cause.
• Lead data-driven discussions and present findings.
• Lead supplier quality activities in collaboration with SQE.
• Develop and maintain quality control systems and procedures.
• Perform routine data analysis and Pareto analysis on scrap and returns.
• Conduct material and product inspections per procedures; calibrate equipment.
• Document test procedures and prepare investigations and reports.
• Assist with customer audits and risk management activities.
• Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
