Apple Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Engineer for Mac Enclosures in Cupertino, CA.

The role focuses on leading development and ramp for a next generation Apple product, partnering with cross-functional teams, and coordinating quality engineering across supplier sites. The position emphasizes measurement systems, control strategies, and data-driven decision making to meet ambitious specifications at high-volume production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing and quality control.
• Travel internationally to supplier sites – 25%.
• BS in a related engineering field (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, etc).

Responsibilities

• Partner with multi-functional teams to evaluate design and processes at the concept phase.
• Develop measurement technologies, control strategies, information systems, and manufacturing methods for massive production scale.
• Develop and implement quality inspection tools to evaluate cosmetic and dimensional part characteristics.
• Compile and evaluate data to determine limits and variables for process and part specs.
• Coordinate all Quality Engineering functions for a program across supplier locations.
• Establish audit procedures to ensure consistency to Apple quality standards.
• Drive corrective actions multi-functionally with internal and external team members.
