- Work with manufacturing teams to identify quality issues and implement practical solutions.
- Support weld stations and help improve manufacturing throughput.
- Troubleshoot weld tooling and manufacturing processes.
- Work with robotic and/or manual welding operations.
- Support manufacturing areas using FANUC robotic welding stations; robotic programming is not required.
- Assist with hydraulic system/component quality checks.
- Develop and track quality metrics, reports, and process data.
- Support QMS activities and help initiate quality processes from the system through implementation on the manufacturing floor.
- Work with NPI and cross-functional teams to introduce new products and processes into the plant.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement simple, practical solutions suitable for a heavy-equipment, low-volume manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in Quality Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering within a manufacturing/plant environment.
- Strong welding background, including exposure to robotic and/or manual welding.
