Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for customers and freight forwarders for reporting of quality issues.
• Track and publish DPMO reports for shipping accuracy and quality defects.
• Manage the Quality Scorecard for the distribution center.
• Ensure the 3PL partner’s accountability by driving problem solving, corrective actions for repeat and high-risk quality spills.
• Collaborate with 3PL partner on continuous improvement initiatives to reduce customer-facing quality issues.
• Co-ordinate between Central Customer Quality, onsite client and 3PL teams in resolution of customer complaints containment activities.
• Collaborate with onsite supplier quality team for supplier quality spills reported by customers.

Skills

Deep experience with 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, DMAIC

Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS)

Leading or participating in internal and supplier audits

Working knowledge of AIAG core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC)

Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, statistical functions)

Minitab or similar tools
