Job summary

ChampionX is now part of SLB. We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector for our Houston, TX manufacturing facility. You will inspect materials and assemblies, follow NCR procedures, and support root-cause investigations to ensure product quality.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in quality inspection, ERP/QMS experience, and attention to detail. On-site role with PPE provided and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in ERP systems and QMS.
• Able to read and interpret material certs and heat treat/mechanical certs.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and instructions for inspections.
• Inspect materials, parts, assemblies per drawings and specs.
• Communicate quality issues and recommend changes.
• Perform NCR procedures and visual inspections in production areas.
• Conduct incoming inspection of purchased products.
• Participate in investigations of customer complaints and nonconforming goods.
• Read material test reports and certs.
• Complete and distribute quality records and documents.
