Job summary

ChampionX in Houston, TX is hiring a Quality Control Inspector to join our manufacturing facility. You will inspect materials, parts, and assemblies to ensure conformance with drawings, specifications, and NCR procedures, and support continuous improvement initiatives across production processes.

The role requires 3 years of manufacturing quality inspection experience, familiarity with ERP/QMS, and ability to read certs and blueprints.

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP systems and Quality Management Software (QMS).
• Must be able to read and interpret material certs and heat treat/mechanical certs.
• Knowledge of GD&T concepts and in-process inspection.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, and technical instructions for inspections.
• Inspect materials, parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies per drawings and specifications.
• Communicate quality control issues and recommend changes to improve product quality.
• Perform routine checks on red tag bins and ensure NCR procedures are followed.
• Conduct incoming inspections of purchased products per industry standard and AQL sampling.
