Job summary

Aditi Consulting is seeking a manufacturing CI engineer in Illinois to identify and implement continuous improvement projects that boost safety, quality, efficiency, and cost reductions in the department.

You will establish process controls, tooling, assembly methods, OMS, and control plans for revisions to current operations, and collaborate with SAP, MPPlanner, and JDAAT to perform engineering functions and drive closed-loop corrective actions for assembly and weld issues.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing assembly, weld processes, and working in a production environment.
• Ability to read prints, CMM reports, and measurement data.
• Demonstrated communication skills and ability to work effectively with salaried and wage personnel.
• Experience with shop floor documentation (Sequence of Events, PFMEA, and Operator Methods Sheets).
• Ability to work off shifts and weekends.
• Experience with engineering tools, systems, and databases.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement CI projects improving safety, quality, efficiency, and cost.
• Establish process controls, tooling, assembly methods, OMS, and control plans for revisions to current operations.
• Work with SAP, MPPlanner, and JDAAT to perform engineering functions.
• Drive Closed Loop corrective action for assembly/weld build issues.
