Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Manufacturing Professional - Projects & Initiatives to standardize processes, optimize IT tools, and govern data across the production floor. The role supports continuous improvement initiatives and collaborates with multiple functions to elevate operational performance.

You will help align manufacturing projects with corporate goals, maintain Oracle data accuracy, and drive efficiency initiatives with a focus on data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4+ years of manufacturing experience with a HS Diploma/GED.
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations, projects, or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Exposure to ERP systems, preferably Oracle, and data management processes.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and implement improvements.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement manufacturing processes, IT tools, training programs, and value stream initiatives to support the manufacturing community.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations to drive information sharing and process alignment.
• Maintain material master data accuracy within the Oracle system.
• Support data governance initiatives to improve operational efficiency and business decision-making.
• Monitor and improve manufacturing processes to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Assist with inventory management activities and ensuring inventory accuracy across manufacturing operations.
• Support annual physical inventory activities and help resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Drive manufacturing projects and initiatives while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support the adoption of best practices, standardized work methods, and operational improvements across manufacturing teams.
