Job summary
Baker Hughes is seeking a Manufacturing Professional to lead projects and initiatives focused on process standardization, system optimization, and data governance across manufacturing operations. You will work with Sales, Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations to align information sharing, improve data accuracy, and drive operational excellence.
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent manufacturing experience with ERP exposure is required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
- High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of manufacturing experience as an alternative qualification.
- Experience supporting manufacturing operations, projects, or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Exposure to ERP systems, preferably Oracle, and data management processes.
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and implement improvements.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement manufacturing processes, IT tools, training programs, and value stream initiatives to support the manufacturing community.
- Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations to drive information sharing and process alignment.
- Manage and maintain material master data accuracy within the Oracle system.
- Support data governance initiatives to improve operational efficiency and decision-making.
- Monitor and improve manufacturing processes to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Assist with inventory management activities and ensure inventory accuracy across manufacturing operations.
- Support annual physical inventory activities and help resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Drive manufacturing projects and initiatives while aligning with organizational goals and standards.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Support adoption of best practices, standardized work methods, and improvements across manufacturing teams.

The Manufacturing Professional - Projects & Initiatives plays a critical role in driving manufacturing excellence by supporting process standardization, system optimization, data governance, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role collaborates closely with manufacturing and supporting functions to enhance operational performance, improve data accuracy, and ensure the successful execution of strategic projects that contribute to business objectives and operational efficiency.
Defining and implementing manufacturing processes, IT tools, training programs, and value stream initiatives to support the manufacturing community.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Sales, Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations to drive effective information sharing and process alignment.
Managing and maintaining material master data accuracy within the Oracle system.
