Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Digital Manufacturing Program Leader to drive digitally enabled manufacturing through data, AI, and enterprise integration in Houston, TX. You will lead cross-functional programs spanning MES, PLM, and ERP, translating business objectives into scalable digital solutions and measurable improvements.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong program management, and collaboration with manufacturing, IT, and leadership teams to deliver production-ready AI/ML

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial environments with shop floor exposure.
• Proven record leading complex digital manufacturing or enterprise transformation programs.
• Hands-on data engineering, analytics, or AI/ML in production settings.
• Experience integrating MES, PLM, ERP in manufacturing.
• Experience managing SIT/UAT, deployment, and handover.
• Strong program management and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic digital manufacturing programs driving efficiency, quality, throughput and revenue growth.
• Translate manufacturing objectives into actionable digital, data, and AI initiatives with clear outcomes.
• Establish governance, delivery frameworks, and metrics while managing scope, schedule, budget, and risks.
• Own end-to-end MES/PLM/ERP integration, ensuring data consistency and traceability.
• Define integration patterns (APIs, event-driven data pipelines) for production, quality, and asset data.
• Lead data engineering, ML, and AI solutions for manufacturing use cases.
• Ensure AI/ML solutions progress from PoC to production within workflows.
• Partner with data platform teams on MLOps, model lifecycle, and monitoring.
• Drive alignment with vendors and SI across architecture, delivery, performance.
• Lead SIT, UAT, and oversee go-live readiness and handover.
• Communicate program updates and risks to senior leadership.
