Qualifications

• Proficiency with computer systems and software used in operations.
• Motivated, self-driven and able to manage multiple tasks in a team setting.
• Sound judgment and effective communication across stakeholders.
• Ability to meet FDA, OSHA and Abbott compliance standards.
• Some college/vocational schooling is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide manufacturing support for Operations capital scope projects and associated technical training for crew members
• Support and lead process improvement and technical troubleshooting/corrective action initiatives
• Participate in BEx idea generation and implementation for the production area
• Perform administrative duties including meetings, data collection and analysis, trend reports, PM closeout, budgets, supply orders, and travel
• Schedule maintenance and engineering work as needed
• Support engineering studies for the plant and division
• Support new product start-ups and/or task force participation
• Assist the team in resolving equipment efficiency, uptime, and maintenance issues
• Interact and communicate with division and plant support personnel, vendors, Finance, and other stakeholders
• Provide support and/or oversight in Receiving and Ingredient Storage for projects, process improvements, investigations, systems controls, commodity introductions, material changes, supplier issues, data collection, reports, documentation, and communication
• Meet FDA, OSHA, and Abbott compliance standards
