Job summary

Brightpath Associates LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Project Manager to drive New Product Introduction projects from definition to production launch. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• 3–8 years of project management experience in electronic hardware/product development.
• Proven NPI and cross-functional engineering experience.
• Experience working with contract manufacturers/EMS providers.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar tools and PLM systems.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and mitigate BOM, component, supplier, and supply-chain risks.

Job description

We are seeking a Manufacturing Project Manager to lead New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from product definition through production launch. This role will coordinate cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, regulatory, and commercial teams while ensuring projects meet schedule, budget, quality, and manufacturing-readiness goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead NPI projects from concept/product definition through production launch.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, milestones, risks, and deliverables.
• Coordinate Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, Sales, and Marketing teams.
• Manage EVT, DVT, Pilot Production, and PVT builds.
• Drive manufacturing readiness and design transfers to contract manufacturers/EMS providers.
• Support production launch, including work instructions, test fixtures, manufacturing processes, packaging, and inventory planning.
• Coordinate First Article Inspections and pilot production reviews.

Technical Requirements

Strong knowledge of:

• PCBA, SMT, and through-hole assembly
• AOI, ICT, and functional testing
• DFM/DFT and manufacturing test fixtures
• ECOs and manufacturing release processes
• Electronic component sourcing and lifecycle management
• BOM risk analysis, alternate component qualification, and supplier capacity
• Long-lead component and supply-chain risk management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• 3–8 years of project management experience in electronic hardware/product development.
• Proven NPI and cross-functional engineering experience.

Preferred

• Experience with RF, wireless, communications, professional audio, broadcast, or wireless microphone products.
• PMP certification.
• ERP experience.
