Job summary

Fleet Laboratories in Lynchburg, VA, is seeking a Manufacturing Project Manager (1st Shift) to support the site by planning and coordinating project schedules, leading cross-functional projects, and driving timely execution in a regulated environment.

The role requires coordinating with Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering and Operations to manage new product introductions and technical service projects, including cost savings and reformulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in scientific, business, or engineering.
• Strong Smartsheet, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills required
• 4-6 years’ experience working in a Project Management environment
• Proven ability to work with cross functional teams
• Adaptable to changing priorities

Responsibilities

• Develop timelines with input from team members
• Produces meeting minutes and monitors action items
• Facilitates team meetings
• Forms project teams for approved projects
• Manages the overall execution of project plans
• Issues meeting minutes and updates on progress of projects against milestones
• Supports project management activities within Fleet business units
• Performs other related project management duties as required
• Manage and coordinate management activities among teams for on-time delivery
• Ensure work is compliant
• Concurrent projects with internal and external resources
• Perform other duties as required
