Job summary

Zoom Hire Solutions is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Project Engineer to support manufacturing engineering projects, capital equipment procurement, equipment installation, and continuous improvement initiatives on the factory floor.

The role requires collaborating with production operators, maintenance personnel, and cross-functional teams to improve processes, resolve production challenges, implement startup activities, and ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a strong presence on the manufacturing floor, collaborating with production operators and maintenance personnel to identify improvement opportunities and resolve production challenges.
• Engage employees at all levels to gather feedback, develop effective solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide hands-on support for manufacturing equipment installations, startup activities, troubleshooting, and production optimization.
• Manage manufacturing engineering projects, including planning, coordination, implementation, and execution.
• Support the procurement and purchasing of production capital equipment to meet manufacturing requirements.
• Work with custom manufacturing equipment to improve equipment performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
