Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Project Manufacturing Engineer to plan, design and manage production systems that deliver performance, reliability and cost control at our Salt Lake City site. You will drive process optimization, lead cross-functional teams and mentor engineers across the lifecycle of products and services.

The role emphasizes standardized SAP/MES configurations, time standards, process mapping and continuous improvement to meet customer requirements and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Broad range of manufacturing and industrial engineering tools and methods.
• Experience applying O.R., simulations and process mapping to improve production performance.
• Ability to lead cross-functional projects and drive cost reductions.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects to eliminate waste using Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering processes.
• Verify time standards and report key engineering metrics for the area.
• Drive standardization of SAP and MES configurations across the site.
• Support New Product Introduction and provide technical mentoring within the team.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams for equipment, tools and process improvements.
• Ensure processes meet customer and regulatory requirements and improve KPIs.
