Job summary

ProCaps Labs seeks a Project Engineer to drive cross-functional projects in a GMP manufacturing facility. You will collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Procurement, and external suppliers to deliver on-time results.

The role requires 5+ years in a regulated manufacturing environment, strong communication, and the ability to manage complex schedules and resources. Travel and site collaboration are expected as projects advance.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a project engineer or technical project manager
• Minimum of 5+ years of engineering experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
• Ability to read building mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, equipment layouts, packaging drawings, and technical documentation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Experience with GMP environments (preferred)
• Analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Work with internal departments to understand needs and incorporate requirements into projects
• Provide standard project status updates including Project Gantt Charts
• Act as liaison between ProCaps and General Contractors as well as equipment suppliers
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for project execution
• Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders and third parties/vendors
• Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget
• Assist in defining project scope and objectives and ensure technical feasibility
• Monitor resource availability and allocation and make recommendations
• Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress (Gantt/CAD/Costs)
• Manage changes to scope, schedule and costs using verification techniques
• Create and maintain project documentation
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools (Spending/Timeliness)
• Report project status and escalate issues to management
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Meet with stakeholders/clients to clarify requirements
• Perform other related duties as assigned
