System One, Inc. is partnering with a Tulsa-area manufacturing company to hire a Project Engineer/Manager. This role focuses on leading continuous improvement and capital projects for new equipment, while coordinating cross-functional teams and delivering regular status updates.

The position emphasizes ROI, metrics, and audit readiness, with a need for strong communication and the ability to drive projects from concept to completion in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferred.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent certification.
• At least 3 years in project management or capital/CI projects.
• Experience in metal or high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong communication and cross-functional teamwork.
• Ability to prepare formal reports, ROI, metrics, and audits.
• High proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience with coating, automation/robotics, roll forming or tube mills is a plus.
• Self-motivated with ability to lead own projects and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Manage continuous improvement projects in manufacturing and office environments.
• Oversee capital projects for new manufacturing equipment.
• Lead and participate in cross-functional teams.
• Maintain project hopper and work with Operational Excellence to prioritize.
• Deliver project status reports to owners and management.
• Coordinate projects within operational excellence to achieve cost savings.
• Ensure strategic alignment and timely execution of projects.
