Job summary

Prolec-GE Waukesha, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support capital and expansion projects within our manufacturing operations. You will coordinate internal resources, vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

The ideal candidate will be organized, technically capable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations.
• Experience with project management tools, systems, and techniques preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities to ensure on-time delivery, within scope and budget.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans to track progress, scope, schedule, and costs.
• Ensure project objectives are clearly defined and technically feasible.
• Monitor project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
• Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and cost using proper verification methods.
• Identify and manage project risks to eliminate or minimize impact.
• Report project status and escalate issues to leadership as needed.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
