Manufacturing Production Workers Experienced Para-Professional

Manufacturing Production Workers focus on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production (i.e., machining, processing, assembly, or packaging) equipment including:

  1. Operating machine tool, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards.
  2. Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods.
  3. Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products.
  4. Maintaining accurate daily production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis.

An Experienced Para-Professional (S2) requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience and may require vocational or technical education. May require the following proficiency:

  1. Works under moderate supervision.
  2. Problems are typically of a routine nature, but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures.
  3. Communicates information that requires some explanation or interpretation.
