Manufacturing Production Workers

Manufacturing Production Workers focus on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production equipment, which includes machining, processing, assembly, or packaging equipment. Their responsibilities include:

  1. Operating machine tools, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards.
  2. Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods.
  3. Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products.
  4. Maintaining accurate daily production records for manufacturing performance analysis.

An Experienced Para-Professional (S2) requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools, obtained through work experience and possibly vocational or technical education. The role may require proficiency in:

  1. Working under moderate supervision.
  2. Handling routine problems, with occasional need for interpretation or deviation from standard procedures.
  3. Communicating information that requires some explanation or interpretation.
