Job summary

The role involves safe manufacturing of refractory products, operating presses and related equipment, and delivering materials to presses and storage areas while maintaining quality within customer tolerances.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 2–4 years of production experience, and forklift experience, with a strong focus on safety and precision.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Some manufacturing experience helpful.
• Previous forklift experience preferred.
• Understanding of basic safety/OSHA standards.
• Mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Auditing and observing manufacturing process to ensure products meet quality standards and logs maintained.
• Operating and programming presses and related equipment, managing material transfer to presses and to storage/shipments.
• Moving materials with transport machinery and cleaning/maintaining kiln cars and racks as needed.
• Promoting safety and driving a strong safety culture in the workplace.
• Analyzing equipment performance and coordinating resources to resolve issues quickly.
