Job summary

HarbisonWalker International in Kentucky is seeking a Manufacturing Production Technician for our South Shore Plant. You will support the forming, finishing and packaging of fired brick, operating presses and handling molds and materials with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include operating and programming presses, performing basic maintenance, inspecting equipment, and maintaining a clean work area. A forklift background and mechanical aptitude are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous forklift experience is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Must be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Operates and programs presses, setters, scales and related equipment to press or form refractory brick.
• Transfers kiln cars and transports racks and/or rack cars to presses and ovens.
• Performs minor preventative maintenance on equipment and inspects machinery.
• Maintains a clean, safe work environment and adheres to safety procedures.
