Job summary

Plastipak Packaging, Inc is seeking a Production Supervisor in Newark, OH to oversee shift operations and safety-first, quality-focused priorities. You will lead a team on a 12-hour rotating cycle, with 3 days on and 2 days off across 2 weeks, and promote internal advancement opportunities.

The role emphasizes ensuring safe work practices, driving performance, and managing discipline and evaluations to keep the line productive and compliant with company policies.

• Minimum of 3-5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to lead and coach a team toward safety, quality and productivity targets

Job description

As the Production Supervisor, you are responsible for the operational performance excellence of your shift. You ensure policies & procedures are upheld in our safety-first & quality-oriented culture. We Offer Set Schedules: 12-hour shifts & a rotating 2-week standard schedule of 3 days, 4 days is 15 working days a month as a full-time associate! Advancement: We prioritize promotion from within! • You Will Ensure associates are working in a safe manner and they understand Plastipak's commitment to safety
• Accountable for disciplinary action as well as retention
• Responsible for maintaining a high level of motivation and timely completion of performance evaluations
• Accountable for driving safety, quality, reliability and scrap priorities

• You Have High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Associates degree preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to work 6:30 pm - 7 am Sunday - Saturday, on a schedule cycle of 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, and repeat
