Raytheon Vision System in Goleta, CA is seeking a Manufacturing/Production Supervisor on 2nd shift to lead a team in Focal Plane and Thin Films processing, ensuring safety and quality.

You will drive daily staffing, scheduling, SPC, throughput metrics, and collaboration across groups; maintain clean room compliance and report on factory health; prior semiconductor experience preferred.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience; minimum 5 years in manufacturing or related field.
• Supervisory experience preferred in a semiconductor environment.
• Familiarity with semiconductor processing equipment, methods, and processes.
• Strong communication and written skills.
• Proficiency in basic engineering principles and computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Supervise operators on a day-to-day basis and deliver performance reviews.
• Manage factory scheduling, workflow, and health metrics (throughput, cycle time, yield).
• Coordinate with multiple groups within the organization.
• Ensure clean room safety and audit readiness and compliance.
• Oversee SPC (statistical process control) activities.
• Work with WIP tracking systems and reports.

Raytheon Vision System is hiring a Manufacturing/Production Supervisor on 2nd shift. The supervisor will lead and manage a team of non-exempt employees in the area of Focal Plane and Thin Films processing.

What You Will Do

• Main responsibility is day to day supervision of operators including writing and delivering performance reviews for direct reports.
• Will also be responsible for factory scheduling, workflow management and reporting on standard factory health metrics including throughput, cycle time and yield.
• Interaction with multiple other groups within RVS.
• Responsible for compliance and management of the clean room including safety and audit preparedness.
• Handling statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Working with WIP Tracking systems and reports.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience. Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment.
• We Prefer supervisory experience preferably in a semiconductor environment.
• Familiarity with semiconductor processing equipment, methods, and processes.
• Strong Communication and written skills.
• Knowledge of basic engineering principles, theories, and concepts.
• Excellent Computer Literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

The salary range for this role is 95,500 USD - 181,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
