Job summary

RTX's Circuit Card Manufacturing (CCM) is seeking a Production Supervisor - 2nd shift in the Sensors High Volume value stream. You will lead a manufacturing operations team of 20–30 people, ensuring quality, cost and on-time delivery by planning, organizing and directing production flow.

You will champion a safe work environment and drive safety improvements, collaborating with manufacturing engineering, maintenance, production control, finance, and program management.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
• Supervisory, management, leadership and/or Manufacturing/Operations experience is required.

We have a high visibility opportunity for a Production Supervisor - 2nd shift, in the Sensors High Volume value stream. Overall responsibility for a manufacturing operations team consisting of 20-30 employees. This individual will lead a team in a fast paced and dynamic environment to ensure products meet contractual quality, cost, and delivery requirements by planning, organizing, and directing the flow of production.

You will be responsible for a safe work environment and will actively lead and engage in safety improvement projects. Engage in daily interaction with other cross business teams in Raytheon to maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives. This role requires daily interaction with manufacturing engineering, maintenance, production control, finance, and the program management office. Achieving/exceeding cost, quality, delivery, safety goals and identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities using six sigma and lean methodologies are critical performance criteria for this position

Qualifications You Must Have

• Supervisory, management, leadership and/or Manufacturing/Operations experience is required.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts with a proven track record of lean / six sigma.
• Previous experience supervising bargaining unit employees.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Access).
• Experience with Lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma or other similar process improvement methodologies.

The salary range for this role is 95,500 USD - 181,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
