Publix Super Markets is seeking a part‑time Manufacturing Production Planner in Lakeland, FL. You will assess finished product inventories and develop production plans for one or more lines while ordering and managing raw material inventories.

You’ll participate in cross‑functional teams to drive continuous improvement and support manufacturing operations with accuracy and confidentiality.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalent
• Six months of Manufacturing experience, Production Planning experience or equivalent experience through college course work
• Ability to analyze and design processes
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information and matters

• Strong computer skills using applications such as Excel, Outlook, Word, Access and Publix Computer Systems such as SAP and Dallas

• Rising senior or graduate student pursuing a degree in an analytical field
• One or more years’ experience in production management, production planning, or supporting Publix Manufacturing SAP Production Planning processes
• American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS), or Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certifications

Year End Bonus

To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.
