ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and direct daily production activities, establishing priorities that balance quality, efficiency, cost, and delivery targets.
• Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to set and maintain production and quality standards.
• Analyze production, quality, and maintenance reports to identify root causes of issues and implement effective solutions.
• Develop and refine operating procedures that eliminate bottlenecks, improve product quality, and enhance overall efficiency.
• Manage production schedules and quickly resolve equipment or operational disruptions to meet deadlines.
• Partner with engineering on automation and equipment improvements to boost output and quality.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing manufacturing team — including hiring, training, performance management, and succession planning.
• Champion a safe work environment through regular safety audits, hazard investigations, and proactive corrective actions.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/ FUNCTIONAL SKILLS/ COMPETENCIES:

• 2+ years of proven operations or manufacturing leadership experience (people management required).
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work effectively under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and working with MRP systems
• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Must be at least 18 years of age and able to work flexible hours as needed.
• Ability to perform physical duties typical of a manufacturing environment

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

• Must be at least 18 years or older
• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field (highly valued but not required).
• Previous experience in a manufacturing operations environment
