Qualifications

• Minimum of high school education with proven experience; university degree desired.
• Minimum of 4-8 years proven direct experience in a manufacturing environment, with production/plant operations experience.
• Proven leadership skills, independent thinking, strong organizational and planning abilities, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence stakeholders; experience leading production teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and direct production resource functions to maximize quality and yield.
• Lead continuous improvement with goal setting, performance measurement, and feedback.
• Recruit, select, and train team members for safe, efficient operation.
• Maintain accurate inventories of raw materials and finished goods.
• Set expectations and monitor performance with corrective actions as needed.
• Provide budgetary recommendations on capital expenditure and manage departmental budgets.
