Job summary

GardenCore is seeking a Production Laborer to provide general labor support in a manufacturing environment in Springfield, Ohio. This full-time role offers steady hours and the chance to join a growing American manufacturer.

You will stack product from the line, clean machinery and the work area, follow safety procedures, and work with the lead operator to prep for shift production. Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, disability coverage, life insurance, paid

Qualifications

• Must follow workplace safety procedures, including lock out/tag out and PPE.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Able to perform tasks in dusty, hot and/or cold conditions.
• Able to speak or hear regularly.
• Stand for extended periods.
• Lift up to 50 lbs; may lift up to 65 lbs with team lifting and equipment.
• Ability to perform physical activities requiring use of arms, legs, and whole body.

Responsibilities

• Stack product as it comes off the production line.
• Clean machinery and surrounding area, keep area free of debris.
• Use security gear at all times and follow safety regulations.
• Work with lead operator to prep for shift production and learn machinery.
• Transport trash and debris away from production areas.
• Other duties as needed.
