Pomp's Tire Service seeks a dedicated Retread Technician to join our team in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. In this role, you will maintain a safe workspace, conduct tire inspections, and perform a variety of maintenance tasks. Ideal candidates possess the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, and the physical capacity to handle heavy items. Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment


• Receive tire at a workable height hanging on a hook


• Visual quality assurance on tires, apply patches where appropriate


• Paint and stack tires with mechanical assistance


• Clean up and buff off excess rubber on finished tires


• Use hand tools, Envelope Tires


• Add Repair information to work order


• Load/unload tires in chamber


• Additional tasks as assigned by manager

Job Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment


• Must be at least 18 years old


• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision


• Ability to work in team


• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 150 pounds occasionally


• Ability to read and verify work order information
