Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services in Fremont, CA seeks a Product Engineer for a direct hire role. You will support production readiness from Pilot through Mass Production, helping improve quality, yield, efficiency, and manufacturability.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Test, Supply Chain, Program Management, and Engineering teams in a fast-paced environment. This role focuses on hands-on manufacturing support, test automation, documentation, training, and clear processes to help

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and update SOPs, work instructions, QC checklists, and production documentation for Pilot and Mass Production.
• Analyze production test logs, test results, and manufacturing procedures to identify opportunities to improve quality, yield, efficiency, and cost.
• Support engineering changes, including ECNs and ECOs, while coordinating documentation, training, production schedules, and labor standards.
• Build, modify, and maintain test automation tools, scripts, and fixtures to support production testing and troubleshooting.
• Develop Proof of Concept product builds for new configurations, sales support, and customer-specific requirements.
• Train production teams and cross-functional departments on new processes, tools, SOPs, engineering changes, and POC learnings.
