Qualifications

• 3+ years in precision assembly, inspection and automation equipment.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering field.
• Ability to travel 30-40%.

Responsibilities

• Develop new or improved processes via theoretical and practical engineering.
• Provide direction to suppliers and act as technical leader.
• Organize cross-functional reviews of machine requirements, design, qualification and capability.
• Create RFQ/RFP documents with design requirements, delivery schedule and qualification requirements.
• Engage machine suppliers for design reviews and proposals.
• Travel to suppliers and contract manufacturers for equipment bring-up, qualification, acceptance testing.
• Drive machine qualification including CP/CPK and GR&R.
• Run experiments to bound machine capability.
• Communicate machine capability to multi-functional teams via data analysis.
• Support production and lifecycle with technically complex testing methods.
