Job summary

Engineered Materials Solutions is seeking a skilled Product/Parts Engineer to join our manufacturing team. Provide direct Product Engineering function and technical support to clad metal stamped products and assemblies.

You will own a portfolio of clad thermostat metal products, champion root cause analyses, drive corrective actions, and lead quality, cost reduction and yield improvement programs. Collaboration with manufacturing, customers and sales is essential, with SolidWorks CAD experience

Qualifications

• BSME/MSME degree with 3–5 years related experience.
• Experience with high-volume progressive die stamping.
• Knowledge of welding, soldering, brazing, plating preferred.
• SolidWorks or similar CAD software is preferred.
• Working knowledge of strip metal processing and materials science beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Own technical responsibility for a portfolio of clad thermostat metal products.
• Champion root cause analyses and drive corrective actions.
• Lead quality, cost reduction and yield improvement programs.
• Support manufacturing operations to resolve issues.
• Interface with customers and sales teams on opportunities.
• Assist commercial team with technical evaluation and process development.
• Manage multiple tasks in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
