Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field.
• Minimum 3 years purchasing experience in manufacturing.
• 3+ years planning/scheduling or materials management in manufacturing.
• ERP experience.

Responsibilities

• Procurement of assigned goods in accordance with company policies and objectives.
• Manage transactional activities related to quotation, purchase, and delivery of assigned commodities.
• Review requisitions for accuracy and completeness.
• Continually improve data accuracy and system integrity.
• Develop and utilize preferred delivery programs.
• Manage supplier relationships, analyze performance, and provide feedback.
• Track and analyze commodity metrics to develop improvement plans.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities and performance.
• Support identification and qualification of new suppliers.
• Handle corrective action requests and invoicing.
• Support contract manufacturing opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal customers to address needs.
• Pursue continuous improvement / total cost of ownership projects with operations, engineering, and suppliers.
• Plan and monitor production jobs and participate in daily management meetings.
