Job summary

Flex is seeking a Production Specialist in Buffalo Grove, IL to support and improve manufacturing and assembly processes, ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality output. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you'll work with Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing teams to optimize processes and drive continuous improvement.

You will assist with equipment setup, monitor performance, and provide production‑ready documentation.

Qualifications

Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Strong knowledge of assembly processes and production operations.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment and processes.
Experience with process improvement and quality systems.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Develops, maintains and improves assembly processes.
Collaborates with Quality Engineers on process improvements and corrective actions.
Drives production schedules and resolves process-related issues.
Supports engineering and development labs with new product introductions.
Ensures compliance with safety and quality standards.
Provides production-ready documentation with equipment setup and programs.
Leads team in process and efficiency improvements.
Assists operators and provides change implementation support.
Monitors equipment performance and makes minor adjustments.
Stays updated with process and equipment changes.
