Honeycomb Company of America, Inc. in Sarasota, Florida is seeking a Manufacturing Process Operator. This position involves supporting multiple manufacturing operations in producing aerospace components, performing assembly, material handling, and quality checks.
The ideal candidate will receive comprehensive on-the-job training and will be responsible for tasks including assembling parts, operating production equipment, and maintaining accurate records. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and be authorized to work in the United States.
Summary:
The Manufacturing Process Operator supports multiple manufacturing operations involved in the production of aerospace components and assemblies. This position performs a variety of production, assembly, processing, material handling, and inspection tasks in accordance with work instructions, engineering drawings and quality requirements.
Successful candidates do not need experience in every manufacturing process. Comprehensive on the job training is provided; employees will be cross‑trained in multiple functional areas.
Support additional manufacturing activities as assigned.
Minimum:
The employee may be required to stand for a full shift while wearing PPE. Must be able to lift 50lb. Correctable vision to 20/20 with full depth perception. The employee will be required to successfully pass the HCOA Respirator Qualification program as an essential job duty due to exposure to particulates and fumes. Operators are required to stand for a full shift while wearing PPE in a hot environment. Ability to pass DOT Drug Testing requirements (49 CFR Part 40). Regularly required to push, pull, bend and apply pressure using hand tools and operate machinery.
