Job summary

BlueScope Buildings North America, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Process Manager to oversee all plant manufacturing functions with a strong focus on safety, quality, delivery, efficiency and cost reduction.

You will supervise production staff, coach teams, and manage key process indicators. This role emphasizes hands‑on leadership in a collaborative environment, with responsibilities ranging from driving continuous improvement to coordinating inventory, scheduling and reporting.

Qualifications

• 5 years of manufacturing experience
• 3 years of leadership experience
• Budget management background
• Steel industry experience with welding processes preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Hands-on and team-oriented
• Dedication to safety and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage Compass shipping, scheduling and delivery.
• Report on weekly forecast tons and hours.
• Communicate quality changes, inspections, drawings, root cause and corrective action.
• Understand tolerances and fabrication requirements.
• Create process goals and monitor efficiency.
• Administer inventory control.
• Mentor new hires and employee department transfers.
• Ensure all inspections are complete.
• Maintain employee work schedules in payroll system.
• Collaborate with team to make impact.

Requirements
