Responsibilities

• Apply technical expertise in production of products
• Select, design or recommend tools, fixtures, and equipment
• Develop manufacturing processes to reduce problems and costs
• Recommend design changes to increase quality and reduce costs
• Solve production problems and improve process capabilities
• Participate in test result presentations and design reviews
• Interact with other functional groups, vendors, or customers
• Initiate and implement routine engineering change authorizations
• Support capacity model and lean initiatives; may join lean six sigma teams
• May interact with teammates in multiple global locations
