Job summary

JBAndrews in New Jersey is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead manufacturing process improvements on-site at our facility. This full-time role focuses on boosting production efficiency, reducing waste, and establishing standardized operating procedures across the floor.

You will collaborate with production, maintenance and customer-facing teams while supporting trials, training and continuous improvement initiatives. A hands-on, independent problem-solver is essential to succeed here.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing environments and process optimization.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Optimize manufacturing processes and reduce scrap.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures.
• Troubleshoot equipment and production issues.
• Monitor machine performance and improve operating conditions.
• Support customer trials and production runs.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Train production teams on process consistency and best practices.
• Use data to support operational and engineering decisions.
• Travel occasionally to company facilities or customer sites.
